LONDON FASHION WEEK

London Fashion Week is one of our favourite events that we always look forward to. A week dedicated to fashion, models and catwalks is our idea of heaven. As well as this, an additional weekend is added onto the end of LFW for even more fashion. This week witnessed the bold, the bright and Kellogg's cereal brands (We're not kidding, check out Anya Hindmarch AW14 collection). Being a big fan of sequins, one of our personal favourites was a collection designed by Zeyne Kartal. We also fell in love with Ashley Williams collection while watching the models strut down the catwalk.

All in all we both wished that we could afford all the clothes we saw on the catwalks. We can also safely say that designers defiantly thought outside the box when it came to inspiration this season. Above are a few snaps that we took during both London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend. Now all we have to do is wait until September to do it all over again.

DOWN BY THE LAKE

The good thing about being in the countryside is that we have views like this as soon as we step out the door. Although we love living away in the big city, it is always nice to come back home to these views. Late on a Sunday afternoon, we decided to head off to see the horses. As it was quiet with only a farmer in sight, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to shoot.

Shopping in my local Tesco, I came across this cute jumper that I couldn't resist. As rabbits are my favourite animal (as well as pandas), I couldn't leave the shop without it. The rabbit on this jumper has a lovely fluffy texture and is covered in see-through sequins. This casual outfit is great for occasions such as strolling around with friends or if you want to look cute for that daytime date. Jeggings allows you to stay comfy if you are out and about for a long period of time. Finish this look with a pair of Uggs boots to prevent painful feet at the end of the day. Here I'm wearing Primark's version of Uggs which only cost £5. This is ideal for muddy strolls as you can through them out if needed to, which you can't do with the real versions.

VALENTINES

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Whether you're single or in a relationship, today is the day to surround yourself with the things you love. For me this includes; McFly, Tom Daley and my 9 week old baby bunny. So however you're spending this day, whether a meal with your other half or stuffing your face with ice cream in a onesie (we are the latter), we hope you enjoy it. The pictures above show a few of my favourite things and how I've decided to spend this day.

For us singletons, this day isn't the most enjoyable day of them all. However, it does mean we can have plenty of crazy fun the rest of the 364 days. Whenever I feel down, I remember this quote by Lady GaGa - “Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you're wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn't love you anymore.” Couldn't be more true. So to my single ladies, we've got the rest our lives to be tied down. I'm too busy getting far in my career and planing to travel the world while singing “I don't need a man ... On that note, I'm off to cuddle my furry big eared Valentine's date while avoiding all social media with their sloppy statuses.

GREEN DAY

Firstly please excuse the windswept hair, we were battling the wind during this shoot. It was back to our sleepy village in the middle of the countryside for our next post. As it was a Sunday afternoon, it didn't take us long to find somewhere quiet. This means there were no passers-by to distract us and I think we completed this shoot in record time
(which was great because we were freezing).

This outfit takes inspiration from the classic school uniform, but far more trendier of course. The funny thing is our jumper from Middle School was this exact colour so it does feel like I'm heading back to school when I wear this. I love matching a collar with a jumper, which has been high on trend for a while now. This chunky knit keeps you warm and cosy and I feel it is great value for money at just £10 in the New Look sale. It comes in a variety of colours, but I felt this colour best matched my hair. If you feel this look is too 'school uniform', swap the skirt and tights with dark blue jeggings and white plimsolls to match the collar.

A CITY PARK

February is here and it is time to think about our Spring wardrobe. This may come as a bit of a shock to us English folk as it is currently dark, cold, windy and pouring with rain outside. However, in the high street shops winter wear is making it's way to the sale rails and the S/S 14 clothing is being placed on the manikins in the shop windows. Although at the moment when we step out the house we're equipped with hat, scarf, coat and umbrellas, they always say preparation is key. So it's time to 'prepare' for the coming season ... and it's any excuse for another shopping spree.

This outfit is a good way to dress up a LBD. I think a LBD is an universal piece as you can dress it up in many ways for a range of occasions. A light denim jacket is great for the Spring time weather. It will keep you warm if the weather is still slightly chilly, while not being too bulky or thick. Add a long scarf and allow it to hang down over the jacket. I have chosen a light coloured scarf with black hearts as I feel it works well with this outfit. This light colour matches the lightness of the jacket while keeping it suitable for spring, and the black hearts match the LBD. Finish the outfit with simple white Vans to keep it looking casual.
